Dog Owners

A reminder to keep your dog(s) on your property as it is against the La Plata County code to allow dogs to be at-large without their owner. Animal Control patrols this neighborhood and responds to calls. So, keep your dog safe at home. When walking your dog(s), keep them on leash or under voice control while on the road or in the greenbelt. Residents enjoy walking, running and biking our streets and trails and should feel safe while doing so.

Spring Cleaning in Our Street Gutters – Take 5 Minutes

Thanks to all those residents who have already cleaned up in front of their house. There are still alot of needles (and some rocks, muck) in the street gutters. Residents are asked to take just 5 minutes to clean up what is in front of their property and dispose of it properly. This will assist proper drainage as well as prevent damage to the adjoining asphalt.

New Wildfire Resource

La Plata County's Wildfire Resource Center is a new resource for residents with a centralized location for information about wildfire preparedness and programs that may assist you including: wildfire risk site visits, current wildfire information, CodeRed alert systems, maps that reflects your homes wildfire risk, grant availability, and more.

Want to Be A Board Member?

We expect to have an opening for a board member this summer. If you are interested in becoming a board member, we invite you to attend a board meeting to learn more.  Board meetings are held in the Mail Building at 5 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month. You can also email dw2@dgowest2.com to get more information.

Fire Hydrants Access

If you have a fire hydrant on your property, please keep it accessible year-round.  Springtime and summer are great times to remove shrubs, branches, etc that block visual and physical access.

Next Board Meeting is May 15th at 5 p.m. at the Mail House
